Brenton – Glenelg Pest Control 5045
1) Why did you decide to join Jim’s Pest Control?
I wanted a change in career and a different challenge in life. I thought Jim’s was a well known and respected company to join.
2) What are your values?
Honesty with all of my interactions would be at the top of my list. Also respect and to treat others better than you wish to be treated.
3) Tell us about your family
I have a great family and we are a reasonably large clan. I am married to Tracey and we have 4 children (two girls who are young adults) and two younger boys who make life interesting and keep us on our toes every day. We are heavily involved in sport and the community.
4) What do you like to do outside of work?
I have been heavily involved in sport coaching many years of u16 to u18 football over the last 18 years or so. We also love to go on short holidays around SA as a family, often heading over to Moonta.
5) What tips can you give to customers?
Know your pest technician, interact with them, this will assist in achieving your desired outcome as quickly as possible.
6) What has been one of your most interesting jobs?
One of my most interesting jobs was a live bee capture. To know that the hive still had value was a great outcome. Once captured the hive was delivered to a bee keeper, safe and sound.
7) How has your Jim’s Pest Control Franchise been for you since joining?
It’s been a great experience. The best part being the variety of people I have met and the large variety of work. No two jobs are the same and that keeps everything positive and upbeat.
8) Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Happy, healthy and surrounded by good people, much the same as today. Life is what you make it.
9) Pest issues that you find in your area and unique content.
In my time in the Glenelg area I have dealt with a wide range of issues, everything from ant infestations through to termites, rats & mice, birds, bed bugs, wasps, bees and cockroaches, you name the pest and I can say I’ve seen it in Glenelg. We are also now seeing large numbers of pigeons and a lot are setting up homes under solar panels, they also enjoy coming down and picking up the crumbs from when we are eating at our local bakeries and restaurants.
