1) Why did you decide to join Jim’s Pest Control?
I decided to join Jim’s termite and pest control as I have a strong desire to provide people with peace of mind. I can do this by providing an effective service to generate pest control solutions that are acceptable to the client and have the least collateral impact possible.
2) What are your values?
I value customer service above all else. I believe in transparency and honesty in all dealings with clients and I firmly believe in the importance of educating clients about pest control in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. I believe in going above and beyond for clients to ensure that they are satisfied with the service provided.
3) Tell us about your family
I have 3 boys, Jack (9), Luce (5) and Fletcher (1). They are all learning and growing at a phenomenal rate and I am very proud of them every day.
4) What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I like to take my kids to the parks and playgrounds. My two eldest boys have become obsessed with scooters lately so most of our weekends are spent at the skate park. I also enjoy fishing and metal detecting, although I have little success with either (it’s really a good excuse to get back to nature).
5) What tips can you give to customers?
Always try to get your pest problems attended to sooner rather than later. A stitch in time saves nine.
6) What has been one of your most interesting jobs?
A bee job where the task was to live capture bees. It’s rewarding to be able to take care of a pest problem where you are able to solve the problem whole also not harming the pest.
7) How has your Jim’s Pest Control Franchise been for you since joining?
It has been a very rewarding experience so far. There is lot of freedom and autonomy in running your own business, while at the same time this is a big responsibility. The major advantage of being part of the Jim’s group is that you have a large of supportive people to help you through when needed.
8) Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Living in my home in Mount Gambier, continuing to provide high level customer service to clients.
9) Pest issues that you find in your area and unique content.
Mount Gambier experiences the full range of pest control issues. Ants, termites, wasps, rodents, cockroaches, fleas, bedbugs, spiders and possums all present an issue to both residential clients and commercial clients.
